The mission of Training Solutions for Construction & Industry is to promote and facilitate workforce development along the Gulf Coast by providing industry-recognized training with portable credentials to create a diverse, trained and sustainable workforce.

Welcome to Training Solutions for Construction & Industry Web Site.

Training Solutions for Construction & Industry, (TSCI) was formed in Nov. 1995, by local industry and contractors concerned with having an available contractor work force properly trained in the requirements needed to work on local industrial and commercial sites. The center was chartered by the State of Alabama as a non-profit corporation. TSCI participates with a number of similar safety councils in conducting specific safety awareness programs through the Association of Reciprocal Safety Councils, Inc. (ARSC).

The attainment of uniform standards in curriculum and instruction and national credentials are the primary goals of ARSC. TSCI accepts ARSC council members in its Basic Orientation Plus program. Industrial plants and construction firms recognize TSCI as a cost-effective method of training that is high quality and consistently state of the art. It facilitates their effort to comply with regulations of the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), CFR 1910 and 1926, and to upgrade the level of worker skills.

TSCI members and clients rely primarily on sessions conducted in the center's classroom; however, through special arrangements, orientations for large groups can be conducted at a member site, provided adequate facilities are available.

TSCI invites applications for membership. Current membership fee is $400. Membership fees provide essential support to sustain high quality, cost effective training. What are the benefits to TSCI membership?

TSCI Membership Application

TSCI rates for Basic Orientation Plus are:

  • Non-Members: $75 per registrant
